THOMAS WINTHER ANDERSENNorwegian born and now Amsterdam based bassplayer Andersen started to play the bass at age thirteen. Since then he have enjoyed searching in to his music, and developed as a bass player both as a soloist (as on Too much bass?) and in more traditional jazz combos. His three albums released on NORCD span a wide musical range. Still to be ranged and related to modern cool jazz. Also as a composer Winther Andersen has developed a jazz language built on traditions. Winther Andersen work as a freelance musician living in Amsterdam. |
