TONE LISE MOBERGTone Lise Moberg is a new voice on the norwegian jazz stage. She comes from Os outside Bergen and grew up and learned about jazz by writing songs by the piano and doing her own versions of the Standards. During her “learning years” she studied jazz in different schools, formed several bands, and performed on jazzfestivals and jazzclubs in Norway. She also lived and performed in England for many years. |

“Looking on” is Tone Lise Mobergs debut album and a result of her work over the last years. Mainly recorded live in the studio Tone Lise Moberg presents music performed in a modern acoustic jazz context, with standards and own compositions, lyrics and arrangements. She and her band performs with strong characteristic improvisational qualities, and the result is a warm, lyrical and playful cd. |
