Part of the new young Norwegian jazz generation, the three member of the band Kobert have created a moody and balanced recording based on the lyrics of Emily Dickinson. Organ, drums and voice is not a usual line up – but still this trio sounds ”big” – using dynamic parameters to keep the intense performance at top level. A creative, strong and glowing album. |
